Eureka
The word Eureka means, "I found it." And it was "Eureka!" that Greek physicist Archimedes (c. 287-212 B.C.) exclaimed when he discovered the theory of water displacement. According to company legend, when Fred Wardell founded the company in 1909, he felt that the term "Eureka" symbolized an organization that would create innovative products - ones that would have an impact on the world.
